NUS is truly an ideal place to go on exchange. The diversity of quality courses offered through the MBA studies were ideal for my desired career path. Career services were available for career counseling, and also to help with useful and timely feedback on job applications. The university is well organized, and made me feel at home through athletic and social activities, as well as reliable medical services. I had my first exposure to Asia by immersing myself into the multicultural life in Singapore, and also by travels to Taiwan, India, Thailand and Indonesia.

Time flies, my exchange program in NUS was over but I have really enjoyed my semester here. During the semester, I have gain valuable marketing and finance knowledge. I devote myself into group discussions and learnt to work as a team. Every achievement encourages us to strive harder and we put our heart and soul to the next phase. Perhaps this is the true meaning of life; to learn, do and reap the seeds we sow together.

It was my first time that I have been in Asia part of the world. Singapore is an amazing place in terms convenience. The location of the city enables you to move within several places in Asia, the international soul of the city enables you to taste almost every cuisine and lastly the amazing infrastructure of the city amazes you to live and experience every piece of land. Lastly, the NUS MBA is a valuable experience that combines all of the above. The quality of the education, professional and academic background of the professors and lastly internationality of the classes made NUS MBA a unique experience for me.

I had the most amazing time at NUS and the 5 months that I spent in Singapore simply whizzed by. I made some really great friends and went to some very interesting classes. The rest of my MBA was in the States, so studying business in Asia was very intriguing for me. Classes were always engaging and some of the professors I studied with were extremely interesting.
Singapore is one of the safest places I know. Traveling around Asia from Singapore was another highlight of my exchange program. I was very sad to leave when the time came.

The thing that impressed me the most was the friendships made with other students from other countries. It gave me a different perspective on how businesses are run in other countries. I have also learnt advanced management skills from the professors of NUS, and improved my cross-cultural communication skills. It was a very unforgettable experience, with many opportunities to meet new people and make new friends.

I had a wholly enriching experience this Spring at NUS. In the classroom, I was a part of high-performing teams with members from across the globe. Outside the classroom, I saw, smelled, and TASTED all that Asia has to offer. I’m so glad that I took this opportunity to study abroad and I encourage you to do the same!

My experience at NUS was amazing. It was a personal challenge to move across the world and immerse myself in a very different culture. It turned out to be very rewarding. The students at NUS are so diverse which allowed me to really learn about the different parts of Asia and gain a better understanding of the different cultures along with the Asian business practices. It was an unforgettable experience that I would recommend to anyone!

Not only should a semester abroad at NUS be a top priority for a global minded MBA student but also for individuals seeking to enrich their perception of the world. My time spent abroad has proved to be a strong driver in the maturity of my business acumen and perspectives. The only regret that I have is not signing up for a semester at NUS during my undergraduate degree.

The exchange program at NUS Business School was one of the best experiences in my life. It was the place where you can study most hectic business issues in the international context and diversity of academic environment helps you to understand various points of view. What is more, every day you meet outstandingly talented students and you can share your interest and experience with them. Beautiful Singaporean environment makes the study stay even more unforgettable as the tropical trees surround the campus and flowers fall into the classrooms. So if you have a chance to come to Singapore for studies, do not hesitate any longer!

The main reason behind my decision to study abroad was a desire to broaden my perspective by experiencing a new environment and meeting new people. I chose Singapore because Singapore is a highly developed multicultural country. Through my stay I have learned that Singapore has come a long way in building a society based on mutual respect across all races and religions – something we can learn from in my home country, Denmark.

My experience at NUS as an exchange student has been one of the best experiences in my whole life. I had the opportunity to study in a multicultural environment, to meet people from all over the world and to learn and understand different perspectives and teaching methods. I also had some free time to travel in the region and I have to say that this really helped me to be more open-minded to different habits and lifestyles. It’s amazing how much an experience like this has changed me positively and I think that the warm welcome and care given by NUS staff and the MBA full-time students have really helped me to feel home and comfortable since the first day in Singapore. Thank you very much!

NUS is a well known university in the world, and it’s really a diversified society. You will feel the eastern and western culture in one city where they are compromised very well. You also will know and feel the globalization, which is the trend of the world. So go around the city and the nearby countries, I am sure you will learn more than the modules which you will take.

Four months have really passed by quickly. My family and I have all enjoyed living in Singapore and seeing some of the region.
MBA Office's presence and involvement has been just right; we find it relatively easy to get timely help. It is good to be with such a cultural mix in both student body and staff, and relating with competent people all around. The courses I took were all good. Asia Pacific Business module was the overall best for me; the most demanding and the most rewarding.
We will miss the efficiency, cleanliness and service-minded attitude in Singapore. Thanks for the nice Farewell BBQ and get-together!

Student in NUS are very kind; they gave us lots of encouragement and many useful tips to adapt to living in Singapore. I gradually fell into the rhythm of studying and living here almost instantly! Singapore is a beautiful country; peaceful and harmonious.
Classes in NUS have much higher participation, projects and presentations. I made friends with students from all over the world and shared the different experieces with them. In future, I hope to have another chance to study or work in this Garden City.

The NUS MBA Program offers international students a window into the excitement and cultures of emerging economies of South East Asia. The diversity of the student body and faculty is a strong asset to the school. The experience was so good that it was difficult to return to Canada!
